Acceptance Is Key

When we accept everything in ourselves we accept everything in everyone else.
When we accept all of our emotions we can accept everyone else’s emotions.
When we can accept that everyone sees us through their own distorted lens and nobody’s version of us is truly who we are, we no longer feel the need to control how others perceive us.
When we accept someone couldn’t show up for us the way we wanted or needed, we no longer believe the stories and meanings we’ve tied to the situation.
When we can accept everything, we gain freedom.
Acceptance doesn’t mean complete passivity. It simply means freeing ourselves of dilutions and creating a clearer lens. With that clearer lens we’re then able to make better decisions and lead a happier life. This doesn't meam avoiding our feelings and not honouring ourselves. What it does mean is that we can let go of stories, meanings and suffering that's rooted in our own diluted perceptions. We drop the bullshit and move into the present moment without the baggage of the past.
