Moving into Radiance

We tend to walk through life thinking we’re the characters in a movie because we’re deeply invested in the play. Identifying with our thoughts, emotions and the character itself. A whole lifetime of crafting, refining and maintaining the self.

When we begin to shed enough layers, the identification loosens. We might begin to realize we’re simply the screen where the movie is unfolding. This open space where everything rises and falls within.

Then, even deeper, we recognize we aren’t only the screen, but the set, the characters, the colours, and sounds. All arising and falling within a symphony of experiences. There’s no inside or out, it’s all just an experience unfolding within a field of awareness.

Once we move through the emptiness, what arises is an aliveness within non existence. It was never annihilation, the empiness was simply one side of truth. The emptiness lives within the radiance.

Once again, we lose ourselves in order to find ourselves again. Only this time, the self has merged with the experience as a whole.
